How do I find my Purpose?

Everyone struggles with topic. However, your purpose is not, & never was never lost.  Keep in mind that God is the designer of & He’s the one who gives you purpose, whether you acknowledge it or not. 

So when will my true purpose be discovered?

When you properly align yourself with the will of God over your life, is when your  purpose will manifest itself within you!

Glass Half Empty/Half Full Theory:

1. One looks & say that the glass is half empty. 

2. The other looks & say that the glass is half full. 

I say, give me the glass to drink, because I'm thirsty & willing to meet half way!! The key is, no matter what level the glass is, you make sure you maintain your thirst!!

Jesus stated that "all power I have, I give unto you." Do you understand that the more you do, say, or think of something that is not of God, means the more that same power will lay dormant within you? Speak up, speak out, live it up, live it out, think on, & share your thoughts of & for God!! Unleash this power that is within you!! For greater is He that is within you, than he that is within the world! You are fearfully & wonderfully made! I speak life over & into you & your family, & death over all that is not of God around you! Man/Woman of God, you will not be defeated, for you are the head & not the tail! You are called for a time as this for the storm you are in! Stand up & claim your victory! You are at your breaking point, but that means you are close to your break through! Don't give up, don't you give in! You are almost there!!! Believe in Christ that you will make it! In the name of Jesus Christ!! Amen!! Be charged now for the rest of your day!

4/5/12 - My Thoughts

Just thinking of a couple things:

1. My struggle with Christ is the best life to live. Because I know that I will come up victorious!!

2. I’m insane without God, but because of Him & His peace, I’m In-Sane…

3. I was guilty at one point, go through being guilty at other times in this struggle, but through my repentance, I was also able beat the cases stacked against me by the enemy without going to court to meet the judge!

4. My rap sheet in sin was so long. The multiple times that I should have been condemned can’t be counted. However, when I gave my life to Christ, He just looked at me and said all is forgiven and forgotten!!

5. I’m represented by, counseled by, delivered by, healed by, financially blessed by, favored by, lead by, protected by, fed by, covered by, loved by, and afforded second chance by constantly!! All I had to pay is with my obedience, praise, worship, exhorting, teaching, disciplining, helping, loving, blessing, leading, and covering of my fellow brothers & sisters!!! What a trade off!!

6. I can look back at my past & say thank you that it’s not my future! I am stronger, wiser, and not a statistic! I get to represent Him as a husband, father, brother, leader, father figure to many, and a son to others that are wiser than me so that I can fall under.

7. When I didn’t understand, Christ showed me how to stand under! When I didn’t know, He showed me how to fear not, have trust & have faith in Him only & always!

8. When I wanted to throw in the towel, He threw it right back to me & said this for more sweat, blood & tears you will shed. NOW GET BACK IN THE FIGHT! NOT FOR THE WAR, BUT FOR THE VICTORY!! FOR I HAVE ALREADY WENT BEFORE YOU & DEFEATED THE ENEMY!! I’m glad that I didn’t see or actually go through the true battle like He did!! So I realize that my afflictions are light!!

Isn't it odd as to how we are not willing to discipline ourselves to eat and live right, but then are willing to discipline ourselves to pray & ask for prayer in order to get out of the situation we get into based on those same decisions? Keep in mind that satan wants you to live the fast life, but not a processed and disciplined life! The fast life will only feel good for the moment, but what of the long term results? What of those lives that you will impact? Are they only worth getting drunk with, having sex with, or fighting with you? Or are they worth empowering, keeping them abstained until marriage, and showing them the true power of reconciliation? Their futures are also based on your decisions more than you think!! No it's not easy, & it can't be done over night. For it is a process and discipline you must develop & go through!

Good Morning!!! Remember to live your God given life to the MAX today!!

1. MAX out at your school! (Learning, not clowning/ditching)
2. MAX out at your job!
3. MAX out in showing love & helping others! 

Don’t just look for the change in your life, be the change in someone else’s! Then watch how what you did for them, will promote change for your life!! God Bless!!

4/1/12 - My Thoughts

There is always this belief that Christians are perfect, & that you have to live a perfect, boring life in order to be one. Then there are those who claim the faith, that think they are perfect, & frown upon, or turn their noses up when they see those who are not. However, no one speaks of the struggle! There is always a struggle for every believer between their minds, hearts, & flesh. The Apostle Paul spoke in Romans: 7, of his own personal struggle, & he was one of the greatest Apostles in God's Holy Word! So stop thinking & acting on these crazy ideas & cultures that are manmade & taught! Focus on the word of God! We are not perfect! For our perfection comes out of our constant struggle of studying, praying, loving others, helping others, & thriving to be perfect according to His word! This is what Christ meant in John 14:12, when He stated greater things you will do! It's ok to struggle. Just struggle with God & don't give into the ways of this world! For it's when you give Him your imperfection, in order to gain His perfection! God Bless.

All the time I listen to dreams & aspirations of others, while at the same, I have my own. However, if dreams and aspirations are all we have, then we are doing an injustice to ourselves. The Bible records in Habakuk 2:2 for us to write the vision and make it plain. We have not because we ask and plan not.

GM Fam. Always remember to acknowledge God in all your ways.  Remember also to be patient, study your craft, & work hard & intelligently at achieving your goals. Learn from your mistakes, & make the necessary changes to get better, & to teach others. The Bible records in Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  So stay along the path He laid out for you, & don't get off of it for nothing or no one!  Also, don't settle for shortcuts, because they can & will cut you short!

Good Morning family. The Bible records for us to Love the Lord with all our hearts, with all our souls, & with all our minds. This is the 1st & great commandment. Then the next which is equally important, is for us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. The question is: If you don't love yourself, then how can you give love to others? Start with loving yourselves 1st!!! Be Blessed!!

To Reconcile

1. To cause (a person) to accept or be resigned to something not desired.
Examples of the opposite:

• Once, I lived glorifying living running with a crew, who most would could it a gang.  
• I lived by the code of not being a snitch, just so others can get over off someone else.
• Yes, had premarital sex and had a child as a result.
• Yes I viewed women as sexual objects. IE.. Can’t have just one.

2. To win over to friendliness; cause to become amicable.

Examples of the opposite:

• Yes I made enemies in the past over nonsense.
• Yes I turned one against the other for my own gain.
• Yes I fell to gossip from others about someone, and acted upon what I heard instead of going to the source.
• Yes I looked down to others that weren't on my level.

3. To compose or settle (a quarrel, dispute, etc.).

Examples of the opposite:

• I didn't want to hear what the other had to say, because they already messed up with me.
• Yeah we said we squashed it, but deep down inside, I don’t like them, so I don’t believe them.
• The problem may seem small to you, but it’s the principal to me.

4. To bring into agreement or harmony; make compatible or consistent

Examples of the opposite:

• I could squash it, but why?  I’m a grown man!!
• This person is just too childish for me, but if I see or hear them talking about me, then it’s on!
• How can me and you be cool, when you smile in my face, but then stab me in the back the minute I turn around?

5. To devote or rededicate (recommit, set yourself apart again).

Examples of the opposite:

• I tried going to church, but the people in there get on my nerves!
• I feel that the ones that been Christians look down and turn their noses at me!  At least I’m real about my life, most of them faking this walk anyway!!
• I told one person something very personal, & then my business is all over in the church in 100 different ways!

Any one of these describes what you have been, or currently going through?  You still have a chance of reconciliation.  Don’t allow what people do or say alter who God created you to be.

3/26/12 My Thoughts

Hello family!  I trust and pray that all is well with you and your family.  While walking down this path called life, we all understand that it’s not an easy path to follow.  There are so many pot holes, shortcuts that lead to trouble and short comings, obstacles that can obstruct your path, along with wild life that live along side.  However there maybe, keep in mind to rejoice in the Lord always, especially in times of trouble.  For the breaking point don’t mean for you break up or break down.  It’s a sign to let you know that you are about to break through!!  You just have to remain moving forward on your path that the Lord has laid out for you!  Just remember this always, & pull & encourage the next one behind & beside you.  One by one, you will change the world!! Good Morning Family. Always keep in mind that when you decide to move forward, take the time to look back to see where you came from. From there, you can see what good & just high standards that was before you. Use those standards as a measure of what you can exceed far beyond in order to create a new standard for future generations!  God Bless!!
